It is WA’s biggest private health fund and serves over 900,000 members.is a basic level of hospital cover aimed at the young and healthy.Change from Bupa to HBF only for them not to cancel BUP and me by charged by both parties.
First chance I get I'm jumping and I advise you to not bother looking at them yourself if you haven't yet joined!I am currently getting vaccinations done for work/placement related and ironically cannot afford it due to health insurance. Furthermore knowing I was broke, unfamiliar with the system and waiting on a card it was not told to me that I needed my card to get the "free" flu vaccination. So I tried to call and 40 minutes to get through just like previous days with drop outs and wait times. It includes psychiatric and rehab services but excludes assisted reproductive services, heart procedures, cataract and eye lens procedures, joint replacement surgery and pregnancy/birth related service.is a relatively basic level of hospital cover but does include pregnancy/birth related services, in hospital pharmacy and psychiatric and rehab services.
Single essentials saver hbf
Pregnancy/birth related services, assisted reproductive services, cataract and eye lens procedures and joint replacement surgery is all excluded on this a relatively basic level of extras cover. It includes general dental and urgent ambulance as standard, plus a choice of two other extras.Instead of a simple apology, she went off on a tangent about the thousands of calls HBF receives etc. I was very disappointed and felt no compassion or understanding.Have sent an email requesting cancellation in cooling off period only to receive an automated email stating they are too busy to reply to my email. After discussing I had a flu shot upcoming and booked in HBF and that I am not familiar with how it all worked and poor communication by HBF in the past was apologised for.
I was awaiting a new card in the mail and we discussed a pause on my account due to financial crisis. The product structure and pricing was competitive but the rest of the operation has dropped the ball completely.Their digital platforms are 5 years behind others, doesn't auto authenticate on mobile, wont even remember your member number, can't see remaining amounts available across services on either web or mobile so you have to call them (except they dont staff their call centres adequately so you have to freakin wait 20-50min!!Hi Louise, if you are in WA you can choose 2 out of the 4 services.1 must be general dental and 1 must be urgent ambulance.
